Does it hurt to get a piercing?
Everyone feels a bit of pain when they get a piercing, but pain tolerance varies a lot from person to person. General rule of thumb: the fewer nerves in the area, the less it hurts.
How do I clean my piercing?
- Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the area.
- Spray sterile saline solution on the front and back of the piercing, 2-3 times a day for the first 2 weeks.
- Rinse the area with water to remove solution residue.
- Pat dry gently with a clean disposable paper product.
- Wait at least 6 weeks before changing your jewellery.
